Crashed my P3S into a tree and sent it in to DJI for repair estimate. They came back with $367 USD. For that much, is it worth it to pay for the repair or should I sell it for parts online? Looks like you can get a refurb unit for $500USD or find a leftover new one for around $600. I guess my...
I need to send in my P3S for crash repair. I have one of the DJI branded hardshell (turtle shell) backpacks. Since I don’t have the original box anymore, would it be wise for me to send in the drone in the hardshell pack inside a cardboard box? The only thing I’m afraid of is DJI not sending my...
Manual mode, 1080p, ISO 100, adjust shutter speed so that I’m close to zero on exposure meter. Typically using an ND16 filter. Post process in iMovie and export in 1080p.
No. As you have discovered, I’ve been trying to narrow down why my footage is blurry by exploring different variables. I still don’t have a resolution to my issue. The only thing that has helped a little bit is upping the sharpness to +3 in the app settings and adjusting the focus of the lens by...
What would cause my video to be poorly focused while my photos are clear and crisp? My SD card is rated for the highest 4k video (definitely overkill for the P3S) so I don’t know what it could be.
When I plug in my RC to charge using an AC wall adapter, the LED status light on the controller flashes red and green very fast. However when I plug it in the charge to my computer, the LED is red as normal. Is 120V too much to charge the RC and that’s why the LED flashes red/green?
Make sure the side of the antenna on the controller is pointed toward the bird. You don’t want the antenna pointing at the bird like an arrow. The controller transmits data out of the sides of the antenna and the flat side should face the bird for the best connection.
Happens all the time to me when I’m in an area with other wireless interference. Even if I’m a few feet from the bird. Go out where there’s no wireless signals in the air and you’re fine. You can thank the wireless network connection on the Standard for this crap. Lightbridge doesn’t do that.
Has anyone experienced a reduction in video sharpness when using ND filters?
I was recently shooting with my P3S and Spark on the same day, filter on my Standard and no filter on my Spark. Both set to 1080. I noticed the Spark video was a lot sharper and had more detail, while the Standard...
