Not sure about the rc with dbs mod,it is a snug fit( you may have to enlarge or remove the mod to store). Yes you can leave the props on,they give you small round plexiglass pegs to insert on each side of the props,relieves any pressure from the foam in the top when closed. Hope this helps.
