If you were at Venice beach then weren't you flying in class B airspace? There is literally nowhere in the LA area that is not within 5 miles of an airport. And Venice beach is directly in the LAX and Santa Monica airspace. So I don't see how you could legally fly there.

Well pure laziness mostly. If I want to sell my P2 it's easiest to just sell it as is. If I want to keep the futaba around I'll need to reinstall the factory hardware. And who knows if that will go smoothly or not.

So somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but with the P3 upgrading to a futaba will not be possible and arguable not necessary, correct? I like my customizable controller, put a lot of time into that upgrade on the P2. Guess I'm selling that too? Thanks everyone

They had a better design, it was with the hero port. Which they got rid of.

Nope, not all. Definitely unbalanced. But it complains a hell of a lot less than when I was sticking coins on the back. Maybe I should try another method of counter weight

I've had issues trying to balance it as well. I can add coins or whatever and it seems balanced before I turn it on, but then it goes nuts. Yet if I take off all the counter balance and just leave the filter on, clearly now unbalanced, it does not complain. Weird
