I personally wouldn't fly in Rome...I had a drone with me pretty much everywhere in Italy and only got to fly it in Lake Como area, very early in the morning with almost no one around. And even then DJi Go app displayed a message asking if I knew what I was doing. Rome is very busy at all times...

I too have this happen every now and then. At first I thought it was a sunglare blinding the sensors but the issue has become too frequent (once in 2-3 flights) so I'm now thinking it is a software issue.

There is more risk associated with a car ramming terrorist attacks than a small drone that is only able to carry extremely light load. I would be more worried about recless idiots flying their drones where they shouldn't that can potentially lead to a blanket ban on operating drones at all.
