DaVinci Resolve is one of the best editors I have ever used and I've used a lot. My first digital NLE was video toaster flyer. If you don't know what that is, you're pretty young at video. If you watch and learn the DaVinci tutorials it will pay off and the fact that it is free is unbelievable.
