    No problem taking off outside National Parks, flying over, and then landing outside... Have done several times, once even w. local sheriff stopping to say hi!!

    Autopilot - tips?

    One thing I don’t see anywhere, unless Autopilot App has changed, it is like GO in that it sends commands to the drone as it flies the mission ... so if contact lost for any reason the drone will RTH ... vs. Litchi where flight plan is uploaded at the start, and the mission is flown...

    Piece of cake if you're a pilot. A bi-annual flight review is required every two years, and that can be used to re-qualify your Part 107 license ..

    Good tip ... in fact, excellent!! If you have more than a fender-bender, throw out the battery!! No sense taking chances on a LiPo fire in your home!!

    EASY to see a lit drone at dusk or twilight .... lights can be seen for miles.

    My point was there is a big difference between the "accuracy" of GPS computed lat/long vs. map lat/long ... and the difference between what two GPS receivers at the same place compute re. each other's position ... The first is measured in feet ... the latter is in millimeters. It is all digital...

    If you look at GPS accuracy BETWEEN TWO RECEIVERS at the same location, or between what the drone detects as the home position, and returning to that GPS location ... the difference is measured in millimeters. The 4 meter RMS is between a map lat/long and what the GPS measures and calculates...
