My concern is with the newley available app update coming. Will we have waypoint issues and catastrophic flyways due to this issue. I certainly do not want to send it on its way without knowing if it will be arriving at the point intended. I can see this as a sure thing, "Oh wait, it just went...
Being that it is at approximately 3cm above center that may be enough to create the TBE, not sure on the other flight abnormalities, but if this is out it may have an affect on flight navigation.
I am in Northern California, received my unit in February of 2014 and found that this is an intermittent issue. I have done the so called "dance", but still remains the toliet bowl effect. I have done some research on this matter and found that there may be a fix in the axis mounting range...
I have been looking into this as a possible avenue if one wants to push the BV realm. Think that using a set of FPV goggles would almost require the need for this to maintain optimal signal.
I get that, and yes I am ALL for safety, but the guy that does the video for the jumpsite also flys a UAV and does so at the location. They where ok we me doing such. This was a random jumper.
Possible gps interference causing miss flight. I know that if I am over my driveway I get more drift then I do over an open fields at lower levels. Think it has to do with the steel in the concrete. I also find that. When I fly over grape vineyards at low levels I get weird flight patterns...
So Thursday I went to a local parachute center and talked to the site operator about doing some video. He was cool about it and even said his video guy has a similar unit. So this morning I got all set up, charged, extra blades and off I went. Was there for about 30 min had quite the crowd...
They are correct, the app is not supported on the 4. I had the same issue. The camera will work but not Like it is designed to with the app. Went to an iPad mini and then upgraded to a 5s, no problems after that.
Good luck!
Ok I read through the thread and have come to this;
1. Source part/lever control
2. Install lever on tx
3. Get tool package software
4. Link mc to PC, choose h2 3d
5. Open assistant, run software
6. Adjust settings in basic
7. Unlink mc from PC
8. Reboot/power cycle UAV
9. Run bench test
10...
Have been trying to source a stock light and pigtail. Figure I will mod it in at just tap into one of the led/mc boards. Seems easy enough, just can't seem to find stock part.
