I found with after market props was most were out of balance, the DJI ones seemed to all be in balance.

I purchased my balancer on Amazon, it offer as an option a rod that fits my P4 props. The props just slip in snuggly.

I have found DJI props to be well balanced, on the other hand I have purchased carbon fibers from Amazon that were crazy out of balance.

What functionality am I missing? It came with a controller/screen.

Found a P4P+ for $1570 on Amazon the other day and I pushed the button on it, will have by the EOM.

Got my replacement battery back from Adorama today (great service, by the way), but the replacement appears to be dead also. :( I'm starting to get uncomfortable about using DJI batteries in my copter, I really question their reliability.

Just got my replacement battery from Adorama, seems this one is dead also. :( What's the deal with these lipo batteries, so far it has been my worst experience with DJI stuff.

That explains the black batteries I saw at a Best Buy here in FL. They had two on the rack at a sale price of $144 each.

Seems the bad battery problem is pretty common. I just got a new P4, came with 3 batteries and one was dead and wouldn't take charge. Back to Adorama it went, took $15 to mail it back. Will see how fast they get me another back, meanwhile I ordered a fourth I hoping it is a good one.
