Same experience with my P3A. I only get that when flying with my Android based tablet(Nexus 7 II). When I fly with my iPhone 6 and the iOS software I don't get it.

I also fly the P3A with the Nexus 7 (2013). It works flawlessly, haven't had any issues. Given the price point of the Nexus 7 (2013) and it's capabilities/features I have been very pleased.

I did not zoom with the camera. Using my basic editing program (iMovie), I inserted a 'Ken Burns' Crop to zoom in. Then 'Fit to Crop' for 10 seconds or whatever, then 'Ken Burns' to unzoom.

This footage is from one of my first flights, maybe the 4th battery charge. It wasn't until I was looking at the footage on the computer that I realized the people viewed were vandalizing property. Video recorded in 1080P by the P3A and then roughly edited in iMovie.
