Not that I know of with the phantom. Again, another manufacturer offers wrist band follow in a waterproof package (The Lily). Not sure if it's actually for sale yet or still being developed.

I use Gimp. It's a free program that is basically like photoshop. If you're familiar with photoshop it's pretty easy to use, if not it can be a little intimidating.

You can use the buttons on the controller. Not immediate but I can usually stop recording and snap a photo in less than a second.
