How to get higher altitudes than 500m?

Just build your own quad. I had a similar need so built a DJI Flamewheel with a Naza 2 flight controller and was easily able to achieve over 1k meters. They are easy and cheap to build. Just search the web. Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

    Phantom 4 Pilot Age

I'm 42 and live in San Francisco. Just another typical middle aged white dude playing with the toys he wished he'd had when he was a kid. ;-) Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots

You have to make sure the setting in the Facebook App is set to upload HD. I had the same issue till I went into he FB settings and corrected it. Same for pictures.

    Official P4 Range Leaderboard

Naw... It landed in the palm of my hand no problem. I was just fumbling with the remote. That's why all the movement at the end. No big deal at all. No wind to deal with.

    Official P4 Range Leaderboard

Here's a new one with my P4. This was with a battery mod and an ITELITE MAXXRANGE antenna. 32,447 Feet! ;-) And some great views to go with it....

    Official P4 Range Leaderboard

Okay... Not sure if this is going to count but I'll try. So I broke my P4. Don't ask. Needless to say I was in a rush and may have fed twice the normal voltage into the little guy..... he's dead for the moment. So, I'm back to my P3P with the new big crazy looking antenna and a single 6,600...

    Little Planets!

The key is to not do it when it's too windy. ;-)

    Little Planets!

Why not? It's easy. Power it up and fly out, take pictures, fly back. I do it all the time. It takes maybe 3 min to get there from shore. The harder one is to get to Tiburon that's 5 miles away but I've made it twice there too. Check it out...

Near miss caught on film. Object Avoidance Save!

Cool but I have a question... If you're flying in sport mode will it do the same thing? So does it switch back to P when it's under its own control?
