Thank you very much, Luap!
I didn't knew about software as Mediainfo! Very good ....
Then I made a mistake about csv file time ....
All's well that ends well ....!
I hope someone else besides me will be able to appreciate your tutorial!
Grazie, Fabio
Yes, I manually delete records before motor on =1 ....
But I need to do so because I synchronize video and gps track in Qgis, using a plugin that needs track and video beginning the same time and with the same length!
Indeed I use those data to realize environmental inspections, to record...
I thought track file name would indicate the time in which you save the file ..... :o
The same for the video: in the properties tab (Windows 7) of the .MP4 file I find "creation time" that I think is, again, the time in which camera save the video, the end of the recording ....
Ok justin00 ;)
But surely you need a control point, that is a video frame in which you recognize a gps track point. In my example I suggest to record when you start your engines, because in the csv file you can find the data field "motor on" with the record that change from 0 to 1. In...
Maybe you are looking for this information:
if you are not able (or forget) to close the app to the "right" moment, you can export raw data to csv and kml files by clicking your option key and than "Export all". Then search "VisionPlusUtility" folder.
Here in my Samsung Note 3:
If developers go on working with this app I have something to add to the wishlist:
1. output data in gpx format, that is an interchange format for gps data
2. I think it would be possible obtain date/time data: kml file reports timestamp data (millisecond) that I was able to convert in date/time...
the best way to sync is to make a video recording of the moment you turn on the engines. Then check the field "motor on" in the csv file to find where it switch from 0 to 1.
Here's my video:

Here I used RaceRender Free Edition (three minutes limited, RaceRender logo, but you can freely export your video!)
First I converted kml file to gpx via Gps Visualizer (http://www.gpsvisualizer.com)
Then I synced video and track (finding an initial synchronization point and cutting outer parts)...
Here my first attempt to use Phantom track with a gis software (Qgis, open source software, with the plugin "Video UAV Tracker").
The plugin does not have a sync system as Dashware so it is rather difficult and expensive from the point of view of time ....
This is the reason why it would be so...
justin00,
it should means "23 milliseconds since logger was started" .... but I cannot view your file, so ....
I inform you that we asked developers to add "date/time" field and we are waiting for a new release ...
