    VPS Question over water?

Hi, I meant that the P4P is supposed to detect water (and uneven terrain) and prevent user to land on it (displaying at the same time a warning in the app). This is not happening with mine ... So I was curious what was the other P4P ownders' experience. Cheers

    VPS Question over water?

Hallo, I read with interest your post and I must say that I keep VPS on when flying low over sea (no trees though), However, what happens to me is that P4P doesn't recognize "water" below it (several attempts at different speed) ... despite P4P it's supposed to detect water  (yes, I had...

FCP question: creating Proxy or Optimized Media (at Import)

Hi John, my rule of thumb is: if i need to PREVIEW my files, then I just import them on FCP without transcoding. However, when I need to WORK/EDIT, then transcoding is practically essential. Just account the processing time and the space required by your "optimized" media. Working on non...

    Avegant Glyph FPV

Dears, short story. currently, the Glyph is my "perfect" FPV solution Long story: [please see the "short story" one] ;) Jokes aside, so far I've tried several FPV "legacy" goggles, the Headplay and the Zeiss Cinemizer but no solution ever came close to the "perfect" one for FPV. In a...

Just got Zeiss VR ONE: now what? Cloudlight/FPV goggles ... ?

Hi Pim-K, on the contrary, vision with CloudLight+Zeiss is really good for this kind of setting, and it's fine if you do cinematography only. But for real FPV flights is useless without a bearing to home indication :-( Looking forward for new version....

Just got Zeiss VR ONE: now what? Cloudlight/FPV goggles ... ?

Cloudlight FPV author just went back to me: currently there is no "direction to home" indication. He states that his app was designed for cinematographers, with little need for such indication. New release, however, will contain that, according to him. So, please do mind this app currently has...

Just got Zeiss VR ONE: now what? Cloudlight/FPV goggles ... ?

OK, week end it's now gone and I had my share of testings... *) Cloudlight FPV: app seems quite nice and clean and it is really optimized for Zeiss VR ONE (in terms of pre-distortion effect that can be applied in order to compensate for optical distortion introduced by lenses). You can easily...

Just got Zeiss VR ONE: now what? Cloudlight/FPV goggles ... ?

Hi Ed209, when you bought it? Can you remember which version? Hi Sonof40, it's no HD nor SD, it's just a holder+lenses for your phone, so your phone provides the screen!

Just got Zeiss VR ONE: now what? Cloudlight/FPV goggles ... ?

Hi Folks, as per subject, I'm trying to figure it out which app is "better" for my P3P + Zeiss VR ONE + iPhone6 (have also Note 3). I understand main players are Cloudlight FPV and FPV goggles+FPV camera bundle. There are also faux-3D view app, but I presume they are not the best thing to go...
