There doesn't appear to be a way to do this in DJI GO4. However, Litchi gives you the ability to set Home Lock to a C1 or C2 button on the controller, among dozens of other options. Very useful.

More often than not, this is issue with the mobile device. What are you using? Make sure preview quality is 4mb, hardware encoding is on, and that you are on a good clear channel. Sometimes auto isn't the best.

What device are you using on controller? Sometime it's easier to start from scratch than to try an figure out what went wrong. Reinstall app, and try to re-pair controller to drone.

Is it taking a charge when hooked to the charger? When you press the power button just once, it should show you the the charge level. How many lights does it show when you do this? We need more info to help.

GO4 is interpreting the flight data and applying that to the flight flight record with map and stick movements. I believe that's what you're after. Don't think your going to get that off of the device unless you use some sort of screen recording app that will run while GO4 is open.
