Did something stupid (I think) and stored by batteries at full capacity over winter. I have not done any firmware upgrades from 3.04 so they all showed being pretty full when checked them.
Probably will be familiar to some of you: when I did first flights on two batteries this year at one...
Thanks for the replies. Sadly most of my trip would involve being in the city with little change of heading out of town. I'll skip the drone this time.
Thanks for the input.
I'm heading to Amsterdam in a few days and I am planning on taking my p2 with me. Are there any restrictions non-local drone pilot should be aware of that is different from say where I'm from (Estonia). 150m height limit, not flying near airports, the usual common sense situations.
Any...
Just curious, did yo do any googleing before asking?
by google'in 'SkyZone HD antenna connector' and clicking on the first result I got here:

and this is what you are looking for:
Dual Antennas - The unit comes with two vertical omni...
2km on an open field, cloverleaf+helical on my receiver. In the suburbs I usually run into static after 500-600m. City center, 200-300m. In the last 2 locations I also have building impeding my lines of sight etc.
My setup is visible in my sig and heheh, Skyzone HD goggles. gotta head there as...
But the usual IS ca VGA quality (my screen is 800 X 480). Just that mine is running on 5.8ghz so that could interfere with your drone operation. Ofcourse there are other options as well but im not familiar with the quality you may get. That's why modified V series may become an issue.
and VGA...
If you have OSD installed on your drone, test it on a a calm day. Find out your max speed at GPS/ATTI and Manual (if you use it) mode. That minus few meters per second should be the absolute maximum you should be flying in. For me it's probably 20mph, that I still feel comfortable, with gusts...
Just plain experience I guess. The few times I did fly blind at like ~100m away I totally failed at figuring if I was near a building or not. Luckily in my case I had a newbie moment where I thought I was going to totally crash into this building in the distance. video footage showed i was still...

Not sure the necessary link is there BUT if you get video repair tool by Grau v1.8 AND you exploit the logic flaw in that demo program you can fix your broken vidz. I have experienced the corrupted...
Just a little tl;dr for those not clicking the linkies. If you are decending fast it's always useful to keep an horizontal movement as well. that way you don't descend into your own prop wash and loose lift.
I'm using 3.02 and it has a bug where when I descent at max speed (2m/s) I loose the...
Re: Has anybody NOT had a flyaway or some sort of control lo
4 months of phantom 2 flights and no problems so far *knock on wood*.
One VRS on auto-descent during a calm day, but I was really asking for it as I wanted to exploit the 2x faster descent speed of the RTH feature. 4m/s soon became...
14-16 minutes here as well depending on wind. I am pretty happy with that. Have no plans to currently shave off any weight.
When I did some distance flying to 2 km and back it used 30% of the battery so I don't really have a reason right now to really extend that flighttime.
My solution...
General consensus is that props and batteries should be dji. On batteries you are saving 50 dollars to risk a 1000+ dollar toy.
Though I might be persuaded to buy em when I know they are reliable. That is lot of other people bought them before me and have used them a lot without problems...
