Try the fix I posted a few posts up, it will make the android app fly and fix all the lag issues and crashes. It sucks that people are buying a ipad mini 2 or whatever over what is just a software issue that is 100% fixable. The ipad mini 2/3 is very slow compared to the note 4, Tab s, etc...

Source? I only ask because this issue has been talked about on their site for 2 months at this point, and they haven't cared yet.

Google maps is not the problem most have. It's the play store service. Of course the newest Google maps requires you to update the play store service. Read ScootT's post earlier in the thread.

This is great news. What version of Android are you using? Also what version of Google play services? 'Settings' app> Applications > Application Manager > ALL (scroll right if needed to see this option) > Google Play Services to read the version.

Return to home works great. I set my failsafe settings to fly up 60 meters, then return to home. The default height setting was too low for me to feel comfortable, so I raised it. I'm glad I had studied the app and set this, because one time I was 4500 feet away and lost signal completely...

My calipers show ~11.8 mm for the length of the P2 screws. My washers are ~1.68mm. Since this is close to 10mm I think things will be fine or are the correct screws even shorter?

I plan to use some #6 flat washers to shim the P2 screws some or go to the hardware and buy shorter metric screws with a pan head. Having washers will offer a stronger joint and cost me nothing as I already had a $1.20 bag of them. I know there is a weight gain involved though :( I guess...
