I'm pretty annoyed here. On April 15th, I pre-ordered from Flight Techs via Amazon. I just got an update that my P3 won't ship until June 5 - June 26 (which probably means June 26...) Should I call Flight Techs?

Meh, they're both good tablets. What empirical data do you have that shows that the app performs better on the iPad than on the Shield?

Nexus 7 will work? Because that's what I have, and I've heard that the Nexus 7 II is certified, but the Nexus 7 is not.

The idea that most users can't use 4K, and 'should' save money by buying the Advanced, is correct - to a degree. However, chip speed, drive size and speed, and edit software is advancing faster than the development of the codecs needed to record high frame rate, large frame size, and good pixel...

So, do I need a Shield with cellular connectivity in order to use the goggles with HDMI capability? Or can the tablet with Wi-Fi only work with the app? Thanks.

I debated waiting for the Phantom 4 (or 3+) since my spidey senses tell me they're going to have a gimbal mount option for the GoPro. I didn't, because I wanted to get into the game now with the P3.

And I often shoot my GoPro at WVGA/240fps. Really cool slo-mo at this price is a good thing, even at the expense of higher resolution. Wish the P3 camera had that mode - or better... how about 720/240fps?

So, Phantom 2 props won't work. I wonder when spares for the Phantom 3 will be available? I can live without a spare battery for a while, but I'd like to see them released on May 15th as well.

Be grateful it's not recording 'true' 4K DCI video. You'd be looking at 1GB/s. You'd fill up that 64GB card in a minute....if it could keep up with that kind of data rate (which it couldn't.)
