You can either transfer them off the card via your computer then transfer again on to you phone. Or there is a way to wirelessly transfer JPEG and MOV only via the pilot app. While connected to the bird, press the picture recall/replay and select the pics and vids you want. In the top right, I...

You can actually download pix and vids from the bird to you iPad. If you click the playback button, then select the wanted pictures and video and click the download button it will download them to your tablet in flight. It will only do jpeg and mov, not RAW files.
