I believe that I replied to your question in another thread, but the gimbal noise sounds like you gimbal arm is loose. I had the same issue and tightened the hex screw at the top of the gimbal which resolved my issue. YMMV.

My camera was making the same noise when I first got it. I found that the gimbal hex screw was loose. After I tightened it, all of the noise and unusual camera behavior stopped.

Hi everyone, I was able to get my P3 flying again. The main issue was a short in the vision position sensor. Once I disconnected it, everything started working again. I would like to thank you all for your help and for your moral support.

The ribbon cable is in place, but I am not sure how to rebind the controller. I haven't been able to find the correct documentation on how to do so.
