Unfortunately, after my first flight in over year, I discovered that two of my three batteries are puffy. I can press the side in, and they are squishy. The other battery feels solid. So...I'm assuming I should just trash them and not risk problems. Also, how do I dispose of them? Shouldn't...

I just bought a new wifi module off Amazon, but they are available on eBay from a few sellers, too. Got the black video screen, so we'll see if this works. As far as future purchases go, screw DJI. There's obviously a design flaw with this system, but we're on our own...no help from them...

So the "fix" for this is to either have electronics/soldering experience and fix it yourself, or spend a few hundred for a new wifi module (that may crap out again down the line)? What a bunch of bull. If this is the case, I'm done with DJI. Very, very lame.

Sorry I'm late...just discovering that my Phantom is hosed. I haven't used it for at least a year. Anyway, I fire up everything, and the app works fine, shows battery, telemetry, etc, but I see a black screen with the spinning icon in the middle. I tried pinging, and sure enough, so response...

I found it in the app help section. They say "smart" is good for city areas, so I'll stick with that. It sounds like "normal" is only for wide open, rural places.

I've been shooting videos and photos with WB set to either cloudy or sunny, depending on the conditions, but I'm wondering if auto might work better? I notice that the manual settings aren't always the greatest. For example, if I have is set to sunny, but I'm filming areas of shade and sun, it...

I don't have much control over shutter speed with the Vision 2+ camera, do I? I sometimes change ISO, but to be honest, even 100 isn't so great. 2oo looks noisy, and it get worse from there.

Cool, so 720p and 1080p are really the only two options worth using?

Which is better for video? I've read some claims that 720p/60 is the best, and there are even less artifacts. Also, someone mentioned that the bitrate is only around 12 Mbps, which hinders the quality of 1080p filming.

I prefer the "cinematic" look, so I've been using 1080p/30. I've also tried 1080p/24, and that gives an even more film-like effect.

Any luck getting it working again? I was thinking of trying this mod, but after reading stuff like this, I'm not sure I want to risk it.
