@Cloudraker Thanks for the follow-up. I'll probably give it another shot later tonight but the more I thought about it, I'm leaning toward it being a machining issue. If it is, kinda disappointing as I waited about 4 weeks for delivery from China.

If I take the arm off the lanyard connector, the center piece falls right in and seats like your picture. When I put the arm on the lanyard connector, I couldn't get it to come close to seating properly. I watched a few videos on YouTube and the center piece just sort of snapped in place...

@Cloudraker Thanks again for the picture. No matter how many ways I (and my wife) tried, that center piece just won't seat properly. The screw isn't stripped, the improper seating was the problem. Put it away for the night so I can sleep on it!

So, everything was going great until I went to make final adjustments. I was snugging up all the screws and I think the screw that holds the new mount to the lanyard connector stripped. o_O Anyone else experience this and, if so, any suggestions for fixing it? I have no idea if this is a...

Awesome pic @jdwarren! The bridge brings back memories. . . My wife and I were riding the PCH on a rented Harley (we were on vacation) and got stuck in a construction zone. No better place than on that bridge to be stopped for a construction delay!:)

Other than painful heart palpitations, no problems to speak of. ;) Seriously, no problems to this point. You just need to be careful when flying outside and ATTI mode kicks in. . . The bird will drift with the wind.

I even flew in a very large cemetery today and the strong interference message was as bad as flying in my neighborhood. :rage: As a matter of fact, I kept losing GPS and switching to ATTI mode. I was very surprised and disappointed given the size of the cemetery and no towers or other...

You flew it inside? o_O Never a good idea IMO. Anyway, despite being in a field, you were still experiencing interference from the school itself and what looks like a fair number of homes. When I fly in my neighborhood, I get the strong interference message pretty much continuously.

I contacted DJI support by email last Sunday about this issue. No word yet. . . Is this response time (or maybe a lack of response) typical from DJI?
