I also ordered some extra stuff, I hope they ship separately. Probably not though, so really hope they have an adequate inventory on launch day.
Did you put the batteries and props on the same order? In hindsight, I should have ordered them separately.
My local nudist beach is directly next to an airport, it's like they had the foresight to know drones won't be able to take off.
Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine - I haven't seen anybody using drones in my city and the new regulations in Canada make all the interesting...
BestBuy (Canada) told me there were no returns on drones, only exchanges if there's an issue with it. Apparently this was mandated by DJI and other drone companies so you may want to confirm with them.
Ordered mine directly from DJI on October 1st. I regret waiting so long.
Paid through PayPal...
I just purchased the Lowepro Slingshot Edge 150 for it. I wanted something that wasn't bulky and that I can easily access the drone from but also carry my DSLR and have a bit of space for general backpack stuff.
Of course, I may get something different once I actually have the drone in hand.
If the launch date is October 17th, I would think retailers would have them in their backrooms by now, so it shouldn't interfere too much with individual orders.
I thought Sports mode disabled the Collision avoidance and the Refresh didn't cover damaged caused by flying? I'm not 100% about the Refresh but I know I read that about the Collision avoidance a few places.
