Just reading various posts over the past couple months, you could try to roll back firmware one step...if 1.7, use 1.6. Reformat sd card and try next step up firmware. Or you could reformat sd card and put current version of firmware on. See if it may load that, followed by next step up...

Looking at your log, the firmware upgraded to 1.07 successfully. You kept the .bin file on your sd card so each time you turned your phantom on, it ran the firmware upgrade again only to determine that it was already installed so it aborted. Last entry shows you upgraded to 1.08 successfully.
Not certain but just keep the firmware on your sd card, insert the second battery into your bird and turn the bird on. If there was a firmware update, it should run.

I know I haven't updated to the most recent dji go app but can it really send the info like stated in the article?
If the FAA does follow the recommendation, that would be one issue down. The biggest issue, IMO, is flying over property. Hoping that issue will be considered and resolved soon.
