    I suppose also, if you fly with a minimal altitude of say 60M, you will always be at least 50M away from people and/or structures (as long as you factor in the structure height). 50m being two lengths of a standard non-olympic swimming pool - that's what I'm using to guestimate the distance -...

    From what I have read on this topic, and I'm very new to this, the main features you loose are the Follow Me flight mode, and the ability to download map data on the fly. You can cache the maps in advance I think - there's an option in the app to cache maps?

    ha yeah that sounds about right :) I should have waited till the Spring before buying .. that way would have saved 100 quid on the price of the P3S and had better weather for flying :-/
