This might be obvious but make sure you shut off the front LED's in the App or you will get that dreaded red glowing effect as well.

Makes me glad I didn't pull the trigger too soon on a P4, so many complaints about range, battery life and people returning or trying to return them etc. It's too bad really maybe DJI can improve on this with updates. Time will tell! My P3P will stay for awhile!

Drones etc. in Salt Lake City will do it. Takes awhile but they did mine custom carbon fiber black. Looks great a bit of overspray in battery compartment but other than that excellent. www.dronesetc.com

Not dipped at all! Custom painted by drones etc out of Salt Lake City. They did an excellent job. It's definitely paint as there is overspray in the battery compartment etc. LED's were taped off also. Pretty slick!

I echo the same thing...keep it and wait awhile. Too much debate on range and battery life over in the P4 forum. DJI seems to be following suit with Apple and releasing new products 2-3 times a year so with any luck there will be a new Phantom in the fall. Technology moves fast and these...
