Thanks for your response. FYI, I bought my firstPV+V3a from Amazon. The seller was Kellards (authorized, but I discovered basically a camera place). The first one had a damaged ribbon cable and I returned to Amazon. The second one has this problem along with some other issues, so this time...

I am having the same problem. I've been afraid to push to hard for fear it might end up breaking and get stuck in there. I've used these cards for other apps, have put them into adapters and always worked fine. But even when you couldn't get it in properly, you were still able to get pictures...

I finally got it going. I had already downloaded the latest version of Assistant. I did have to then go back and download the drivers. Then turned the computer totally off and restarted it. Then turned the controller on (no phsical connection to the computer. Turned on the range extender...

Yes, after reading earlier comments, I did download the drivers. I realize that I did not shut down the computer and restart after the download. I will try that. Or is there something else I have to do to install the drivers? I'll let you know Meta4. Thanks for giving me a starting point.

Having a problem getting the P2 assist to recognize that I have either controller or P2+ connected. I have a PC with Windows 8. When I plug controller or P2+ into computer, the assist app doesn't see anything connected to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm new to phantom pilots, so if I'm in the wrong place on the site, please advise. I'm trying to get the names of some of the GPS locator brands that anyone is using, so I can research a few and get one for my V+. I did find Trackimo but would like to check out several before buying. Thanks.
