Waking up an old thread, my HDMI output module went dead. For the past 6 months or so, it worked flawlessly with a pair of Headplay Goggles (Rho lens). Then, without warning, the USB connection failed. I could not get my iPad to connect with the controller (no "ding" on insertion of usb wire)...

So, I pulled my upgraded USB/HDMI board on the back of the remote. Viola! USB connects immediately. Something just went bad on the board. No to order a new board from DJI. I'll tell the how much I appreciate paying twice.

If you have a Phantoms Pro or advanced, Step one is to make sure your controller is connected to the device running DJI Go app. Do you hear the device "ping" or alert you when you connect the USB to between the remote and the device?
