DJI should have two categories for US, if you have you pilots license it should give you a "free" card to fly anyplace you choose (like in the "old" days), If you don't have a licence then some form of this registration they are shoving down our ....., but as the head said must be a RTH in this...
Thanks guys, this is the basic needed stuff/action we need to know. FAA has confused the heck out of the important stuff in 107 test including stuff like what services are available at the airport, does not add to protecting man occupied aircraft or people/property.
Another GPS problem could be a jammer, some employees use them to hide from management when they are in company vehicle, recall to problem at Newark NJ airport several years ago. Odd but could happen to any of us at any time, not sure of the range of the jammers tho.
My thoughts too, but need the FAA onboard and, well they are bureaucrats, they are big government your idea just makes too much sense. Eventually they will have to go that way, but for now they are trying to shove us into the a plane pilots slot, cause that is all they have.
I bought one a couple weeks ago, works great with my P3A once you put the latest OS and latest DJI software in, enjoy. You will need a sun shade, I made one out of a shoe box, works fine.
OK my iPad2 mini says I need an upgrade, I've upgraded to 1.1.9 several times, the upgrade note says abort your firmware is the latest. I just connected my Note 3 and the Pilot app says the firmware is up to date. Does the apple OS have a problem?
