Thank you also for that info. That is really is quite an odd restriction placed on the flight but you seem to have been able to overcome it. It would make more sense if they did not let you load a flight that was sure to run out of power and create a forced landing situation due to critical...
Thanks for that tip. I had been wondering what affect the battery settings (low and critical) have on the Litchi program. I assumed it simply ignored them and continued the flight as programmed, apparently that is not the case.
Is there a way to insert a landing into a programmed flight? For example, I would like to sent the Mavic to my brothers house and have it land in his back yard and drive over later and get it.
Hmm...I am flying down from Fort Lauderdale International to CAT Island via Nassau to do some fishing for a few days. But, on the way back, I have a small charter directly from CAT (The Bight Airport) to Fort Lauderdale Executive airport. I am concerned about paying money in Nassau when I...
Ha ha now that is funny. I actually travel quite a bit to London and was just stating a fact. If you don't believe folks (including those tasked with maintaining security) are concerned about the immigration issues there then I just don't know what to say.
I just read about the possible drone collision with a BA flight approaching Heathrow airport this morning. While it has yet to be confirmed that it was an actual drone, I can't believe any sane person would fly their drone anywhere near a commercial airport (or any airport for that matter)...
You are correct but I think a BETTER way to handle this is to obtain the persons credit card info and OVERNIGHT them a replacement with a return shipping label so they can send back the bad one immediately at no cost. If the return is not received back within 30 days then charge the customer...
DB..Great info. Was this flight in P mode? Also what was flight time and how much battery was remaining? I would be curious if anyone could make two identical flights one in p mode and one in sport mode and report the difference in time flown and battery consumption. Thank you.
Thank you for that review. It seems to be Flight Time vs Features - which is better to have? I guess the answer to that is a highly individualized and personal choice. The fact that DJI is charging a large premium for essentially the same item (marginal flight time increase and with less...
I agree. I would LOVE to see a side by side review run under identical conditions for the P3 vs the P4.
I just purchased a P4 today with an extra battery (first time DJI user) and I haven't even opened the box yet because I want to read as much as I can before flying. I already have the...
Sorry to hear you troubles. DJI has great products but the absolute worse customer service. Once again, they are a Chinese company and having done business in Asia for decades (including a lot in China) I can tell you they just don't understand post-sale service and why it is so critical. The...
Active track is easily fooled and sudden moves that bring the object out of the frame or if the object gets obscured or blocked by another object the P4 will lose its lock and not be able to track. Basically it was intended to track large easily discernable or slow moving objects.
That was great service from Apple!. DJI really has a lot to learn in terms of customer service and it looks like they are trying by partnering with one of the best. Culturally I don't see it as a good fit but time will tell. I am sure Apple was well aware of DJI's reputation for bad customer...
