Change "flysight" screen to fpv googles???????

Hi, have a PJI phantom 2 with flysight screen and hero 3 white edition. Can I buy a google setup to use instead of the screen system. BTW, I'm been trying to sell the whole system, but I would keep it if I could convert over to a fpv google setup, without breaking the bank. Does flysight offer...

    Removed--PHANTOM 2-Hero3 Wht.--Carry Case-FlySight-2 New Batts.

I know my friend did pay at least $1,000 for it when he bought it new. Let me know if you'd like a back up system. I may ship it to someone who knows what they are buying. Pete

I guess today was my turn, P4P falls out of the sky

You may be doing him a disservice - it's quite possible that, alternatively, he is simply quite clueless and doesn't know which aircraft he has. A problem that Nathan Poe knew, and knew well. Yes....... You hit it right on the head. Thou I've been in the hobby for "over" 60 years, I bought my...

I guess today was my turn, P4P falls out of the sky

Thanks for the info. I now understand a lot better.AND............it looks like I don't have a ph3. There is absolutely no tilt in the rotors. Well, at least I proved why they added the tilt!!!!!! Thanks a bunch, Pete ps................could I make up bushings to tilt the rotors outward?????????

I guess today was my turn, P4P falls out of the sky

Well, I guess my p3 may not be up to date, since it did happen to me. And, not to argue, but if you drop too fast vertically, the blades will stall, unless you more out of the column of air. In addition, we "all have heard of the many stories of full size aircraft" (planes), falling a thousand...

I guess today was my turn, P4P falls out of the sky

It is very possible, "since it just happened to me", if you had a wind gust that allowed the drone to descend , once it starts descending fast enough, the drone starts falling through it's own column of air and the blades stall because the air stops going over the blades to create lift. The more...

Looking to buy damaged Phantom 3 batteries

You can read some of this on the web.............I've done it and it works. FWIW, if the battery is below 3 volts (or too low for charger to begin charging) you switch your battery "type" to Nicad or nickel metal hydride and charge for about 1 minute. This should bring the lipo up to 3 volts...

    Course Lock????

I have the Phantom 3. OK.... I switch to course lock, and fly straight away from myself. When I pull the stick back it "seems" the drone doesn't come straight back to me. Should it?? If I turn 90 degrees to the right the drone seems fly straight back and passes in front of me, continuing in a...

The drone ball by Grapnuer (?), is already to go. I don't know if it has the lifting power needed, but I can't see it not having enough take up a lightweight string attached to the main line. Also, I don't see a need for a disconnect. I'd just have a long enough string to let the drone go over...

OK................I still don't quite get what course lock and home lock are/do. They seem to be the same thing, except home lock brings it home without input. I believe I could use a good explanation on "Atti"stuff. too. Thanks, Doc Pete

Ah........ It's nice to get an accurate and informative answer. FWIW, my friend in the Tree business, has already mentioned for me to just go buy the droneball when it comes available. Also, my other friend with a 3D printer has offered to design a cage for me. Again, thanks for the...

HI guys, my name is Pete from New Jersey. I've been in the Hobby over 60 years, starting at age 5. I've been through controline, rc planes, gliders and copters. I'm all electric now, which IMO is the way to go. I just got a phantom 3 drone. Flying is no problem with my Heli experience. NOW, what...
