ya know, I build an F550 w/ Futaba receiver and used two of the RMRC 4S8000 batteries with it (not at the same time) and I experienced what I think is the same thing. I don't have the exact battery stats but only going by the failsafe flashing lights from the DJI LED.
What transmitter/receiver? Connect it to a PC and open the Naza software and see if one of your channels are reversed. I had this same issue when I built my 550 / Futaba system.
In all fairness, they are for developers not consumers. And they will never have Google Play services as Google only certifies phones and tablets for the market. The issue with not connecting to a wifi hotspot is an Android issue, not Epsons.

Google only certifies phones and tablets so these will never have Google services on them. Either the booster will have to be distributed as an APK to side load or added to the Amazon app store/Epson 'coming real soon' store.
I haven't noticed this but in my single flight I really didn't test all features. Maybe the glasses or hand unit require a compass calibration?

Gotta agree. I purchased the P2V a few weeks ago from Amazon and was amazed at how easy it was to use from a first timer and appreciated the thorough documentation that was provided with it (and the great community here!). I just sold it to replace it with a P2V+ and can't wait to test this bird...
