as long as you have the appropriate assistant software for the firmware you want to downgrade to you can. I just went from 3.16 to 2.12 (the 1.8 assistant) 3.xx just too flaky for my liking

that's sort of what I have but I imagine you'll need to get better aerials than those whips. (immersion do some - I got mine from first person view)

those motors might be a little slow and powerful for a phantom. they'd really need bigger props or a 4s battery i think. They also draw a lot more current than the standard motors - what esc's does a phantom have?
