    Police vs law vs drones

I just went to San Diego last week and wanted to take my Phantom to fly out over the water. Not knowing California law, I called and finally spoke with a park ranger that said drones are not allowed at city parks. He was very nice about it and thanked me for asking before just doing it. Updated shell cracked :/

I too developed a stress crack around two motor mount screw holes. I sent it into DJI last week, they've made the repairs free of charge to me, and I just received an email saying it was shipped back to me today. That's pretty darn quick turnaround. I am impressed.

Worth buying a tablet for Phantom3?

I use a dedicated iPad mini 3 and it has worked flawlessly so far. I did have to get a sunshade though.

    Successful first flight.

Congrats Panamino ! It sure is a lot of fun. I love mine also. As others have stated here before, you will warm up to 400 feet pretty quick. You should get a sunshade that's made for your mobile device. It will really help cut down on the glare from the sun.
