Cruising Speed is the default speed for the mission. Max Flight Speed is the maximum speed you can accelerate to by overriding the default by using the forward stick.

I did the same thing. Bought a used one off the classifieds and modded it. Sent the original one back to DJI to be fixed. Now I have a spare.

That looks great! And it's not all crumbled up. I ordered from Decal Girl on Sunday and it shipped Tuesday. Ordered from previous vendor on 02/28 and it didn't ship until 03/09. Already a big difference in service.
