Very nice.....are you going to get a FPV setup? I would think it would be easier to do shots like this. I just upgraded my gimbal to a brushless one....servo's suck for smoothness. FPV will be the next upgrade.

It can't be that heavy, I still get 9 min of flight time even at 5300 ft. Maybe I will have to take it off and find out how heavy it is...

You know what, I never even thought about checking that. I changed from a ContourGPS camera (heavier) to a GoPro3 silver and I get a little longer flight time so I'm happy.

Well, this is my first flight on my new camera. Contour closed there doors at the end of July so I have been looking for a replacement camera and finally bought a GoPro 2 silver. I still need to get a better gimbal but the first video came out pretty good...

Great idea, I purchased a waterproof one to take out on my jetski to let me know how much filming time I have while the Phantom is hovering that way I can get back and land before it takes a swim. I hope it works like I want it to.

I like your video, I have been a big fan of Contour cameras since they first came out. Love the way they are built and how well the company takes care of us. Just replaced my second one with another GPS version. I'm not sure I like the 170 degree on the new ones, I have been very happy with...

I'm sure somebody has already done this but I can't find it. How hard would it be to move the guts to a different quad frame? There are a lot of them out there and some that fold up (to make transporting easier). If you have and have pictures please let me know. Thanks Scott

I got my gimbal of ebay, its nice but I think in the near future I will be replacing it or modifying it. Its not made for the Contour but it works. As for the settings, I will have to pull them up but I really just played around off the stock settings until it seemed as smooth as I could get...
