I bought the cheapie one to just fly around the house as it gets very hot and windy outside. I took the Hubsan outside and the wind caught it ... it flew over my house roof top and by the time I got to the other side it was gone with the wind. I wanted the cheapie to teach my grandson to fly...

I bought the Phantom first ... flew it for 5 months ... decided to buy a Hubsan X4 ... lost it the next day (the Hubsan). So all that training I had on the Phantom did me no good in learning to fly the Hubsan :) BTW ... got another Hubsan on order :)

I've been flying with the guards on since I've owned it (5 months) and I really haven't had any problems using them. I know many feel that it's better to fly without them because it's lighter and the potential VRS but I like how they look and they make it easy to carry :)

Re: Anyone flown a 2+ yet after installing this latest updat It did that because you were very close to the home point already... if you had the bird much further away the RTH feature would have kicked in sooner.

Looks like the Phantom isn't the only thing that can be put in 'attitude' mode.

As a long time videographer who is now retired I just want to say 'very well done' I know how much work goes into producing a video that your clients are proud to show. Just trying to find the right music is a lot of work. It's also a very long day for you and your team in getting the shots...

66, currently working part time as a government access channel TV technician. Owned my own video production company for 15 years and got burned out on shooting video till I saw how beautiful the footage is from our Phantoms... now I'm back at it flying and shooting. :)

We have an annual river float and this year I thought I would try to get some footage and pictures of folks enjoying themselves. I was looking at the City's website for the event and noticed this picture in their gallery. This guy has to be breaking some rule. The local airport here is well...

I'm just curious ... were you able to ever test out your styrofoam effort to make the phantom unsinkable?
