don't turn on the DX 8. when you plug in the training cable the unit will power up it self.

I bought a DX6i and could not get it to work. I made it work with a Spektrum DX8.

The LB HDMI connector is longer, this way it sits higher then the USB connector. Plug the USB in 1st, then HDMI over top.
