I had the exact same problem. I've used mine with an iPhone 6, iPad mini 3 and an iPad Air 2 on the older firmware and never had any problems. Since I upgraded to 1.4.1 I get lag on the phone and iPad mini, the iPad Air fairs a little better. I hope they fix this soon.

I replaced my stock 2mm with the 4mm. I haven't flown it yet, but satellite lock went fro. 2:10 with the 2mm to 31 seconds with the 4mm. I also have the copper shielding in place which helped. Before I installed the copper shielding I was 58 seconds with the 4mm. Hope that helps someone out...
