If the antenna connector comes off the board during flight I would assume that RTH would be activated as well. However, can't say I've ever tried it.

The 8 inch (20 cm) ones will reach. I just did it on my P3S, but there's not alot of extra cable at the top, which is what I wanted anyway. Ideally I would like 9 or 10 inch, but I couldn't find anyone who made them. As far as the glue, like Jay said it's certainly not hard to hot glue them...

Robert, The ufl cables attach pretty securely to the board. I don't have any glue on mine right now, I just used a cable tie to secure the three antenna wires together and give them some more structure. The only way they would come off is if you pushed the itelite antenna all the way up and...

Yea I'm looking for the exact same thing. I'd be interested in seeing what some of our forum members have come up with in regards to transporting their drones with the ITELITE antenna attached.

Tony, I just did the exact same thing and I think you actually need a U.FL to SMA Male connector to go directly to the ITELITE antenna from the board, and they need to be at least 8 inches long. I haven't tested it since I got the new cables, but I believe them to be correct and it attaches...

Same here. You won't regret getting one of these, I use mine all the time for repairing phones, computers, and rc stuff. You'll be amazed at how often you will find to use it.

Kesuki did you ever say how long the U.FL TO RP-SMA wires were to run from your board all the way to the antenna? Just want to make sure I get ones that are long enough? If anyone else knows feel free to chime in. Is 8 inch long enough or are they longer?

It was actually Kesuki who posted pics of this on post #242 on page 13. It looks like he just ran long cords from his board straight through the existing antenna hole. I would like to do a similar install with a grommet that has holes in it for the wire to go through. Haven't found exactly...
