You will be disappointed on the range on the P4 if you are flying a Mavic. Also the firmware bugs and remote controller battery issue is another reason to pay more for a P4P. The wireless signal on the P4 contoller is also weaker. I have a Mavic and a P4 Pro now

Unfortunately there is no firmware fix for the battery. Lots of people has this same issue. Its poor soldering near the battery terminals according to a youtube video and some posts on this same forum. If its under warranty you have to send it in.

I went 2.5 miles (5 miles) round trip on Auto 5.8. I tried 2.4 and only get a mile before losing connection. This is on a 100 foot hill overlooking an urban area with houses, markets and stores. Too many 2.4 interferences.

Handbrake can batch convert H.265 for both Macs and PC. Not sure if it can convert to 422 though. Too bad Compressor or Final Cut cannot convert H265.

Make sure you are not recording in H265. Choose H264

exFAT fize size limit is 16 EB (Exabyte) so theoretically the P4 should be able to record entirely in one file.
