    Mid Air Hiccup.

Well, here I sit, almost two months after packaging the quad, gimbal and battery up and sending it off to DJI. According to the RMA email, it takes four or five weeks to get the thing into their system, then another four or five weeks to actually do anything. Oh well.....couldn't fly it anyway.

H3-3d ... Why does ti need to plug into the goPro

Yes of course noone is to blame. The whole point of posting this question is to ask people to give me any pertinent info on which to base an assumption. This question has been out here's do elsewhere for quite a while now I can only assume that I have heard all I can. Time to make a decision...

H3-3d ... Why does ti need to plug into the goPro

So then, I take it as optional. If I plug the immersion tx directly into the GP, I can get both benefits .... power and vid out .... without worrying with the flimsy h3-3d connector, right? I thought that was the case but wanted to make sure there wasn't some hidden function that I would be...

Moving the H3-3d forward on p2

Wow, that sounds like exactly what I wanted to do. Can you possibly snap a pic of you setup and post it (or if your shy, send it in a personal message)? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Has anyone had success doing that? My attempts in the past to contact them have been fruitless.

Yes, the IMU calibration was performed the day before.. Also, I always go up to about 3 meters and let it hover for a minute or so to make sure the compass and gyros seem to be working ok. And when I go to the woods, I always do the calibration dance just to be sure. I did notice that the...

Here it is -- crash 2 -- I hope none of you ever have to see this first hand.....or see it again. Added a little slo-mo to the end.

This instance doesn't seem that it would be related the compass or ecs as the motors shut off completely. I probobly would rule out UFO's as well....just too creepy. The idea of a power problem I guess begs the question of why the video seems to be uninterrupted. At this point, I am...

Moving the H3-3d forward on p2

Jason, I did look at the video and for a lot of the stuff I do it would be great, but other times, I really want the fish eye to be able to spot differences in a wide patch of terrain. I could get another camera, but can't really afford it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You were right and I think I did take it seriously, but not sure what I should have done differently. I did pop the top and went over all the wiring looking for weak or questionable connections or wires. I even fired it up with no props and the top off and gently poked around looking for any...

Jason: you really know how to rip a guys heart out and use it for a woopy cushion, don't you? :(. That's all right, I will be laughing about it too in 20 or 30 years. IflyinWY: no to data logging and yes to video. I will probobly post it hear later today. The final tally of broken parts (at...

Fool me twice.... I checked out the problem and could not duplicate it. Flew increasing height as my confidence grew, and with a different battery. (97% life left), fully charged, I took it to the woods and went up to 150 meters and hovered for a bit. I started yaw left and the motors shut...

Moving the H3-3d forward on p2

Hughie: I tried that, but the stuff I like to shoot is greatly enhanced by lots of sky and clouds. Jason: the two things that concern me about that approach are price and the fact that going back and forth between the two lenses seems a bit drastic. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Moving the H3-3d forward on p2

I've been looking at my p2 and wondering if it would be possible to move the h3-3d forward about 3 or 4 cm. Seems like a plate could be made that matched the wholes on the quad and another set of holes on the gimbal only moved forward a bit. As far as I know, the quad will compensate for the...
