I have not for the Phantom, but am working on Q450, as well as an Walkera 350 w/Optima 6 RX, the Q450 I am using Naza M lite, finished building and in radio/craft firmware, gps, compass calibration, and using the Optima 7 receivers.

same here I have been thinking the same, I have another drone that I'm not happy with, Walkera q350, I am thinking of ripping out the reciever/controller and going NAZA-m lite, install ESCs and do all the firmware and run with it.

I have a different view, I own 2 syma X1s, they are junk, I gave both to my Son 38yo, unstable, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, we are both unhappy. go for the Hubsan x4
