Thanks, does it update on it's own after I bind it? Are you saying that the middle switch position then becomes the "sport" position and "P" remains "P"? I hardly ever use "ATTI".
If I bind my P4 to my P3P rc to see if my range changes, how does the flight mode switch work? It doesn't have a "S" position for sport. I am also interested in getting the DBS mod, but I had rather install it on my extra P3 rc.
75 here in Louisiana yesterday and I got the exact same error messages I too landed immediately, changed pants and then inspected the Phantom, could not see anything wrong. Searching the forum right now looking for a answer
Yep, there is nothing wrong with taking off from a comfortable chair sitting on a nice shady deck. It makes the screen easier to view too. Just fly out there in the open and reset home for "just in case" I even have a portable table to set the controller, 2 chargers and a cold beverage on while...
I take off from my deck which is shaded by large trees. I just happened to think about the problem it would be if I were not able to take control if it went into RTH. It would try to land in my trees. To avoid this, I always fly it out into a clear spot out in the yard, hover and reset my HOME...
I was actually interested in this original thread, but it seems that it has strayed way away from it's original subject. I am however curious as to why it has?
