this is what my versions are on software version 3.6. are there improvements in performance that i should absolutely update to latest firmware?
if the firmware updates only are for adding no-fly zones then i dont want to update. but if they help with fly aways, battery performance, gimbal...
i have the: DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter V2.0 Bundle, 3-Axis Zenmuse H4-3D Gimbal
bought it january 2015 and updated firmware on remote, batt, and bird. i have not updated it since. they had that update that came out (around spring?) after some dude crashed a phantom on white house lawn and...
i have version 2 of the phantom with the new H4-3d gimbal...
say in the middle of flying i need to switch from shooting video to taking pics or adjust video settings to diff resolution/framerate, is it bad on the gimbal motors to be pushing on the buttons of the gopro while its running? the...
exchanged my other gimbal for a new one. this one is almost completely quiet as opposed to the screeching from the old one. updated/calibrated and just went out for a test flight.
gimbal keeps jerking cam left then back to the middle during flight. had the opposite problem of jerking down...
adobe cc subscriber and use pp and ae.
curious as to if anyone has a workflow for reducing the jello wobble in footage? been shooting 4k 30fps on hero 4 black with protune hit bit rate on. phantom 2 2.0 with the h3-3d gimbal. TIA
if i have the nose facing me with the cam pointing at me, phantom is off and with the polar pro nd filter on it...it completely falls forward and to the right. its takes 2 quarters and a penny on the back to keep it from falling forward. then it takes 2 quarters and a nickel on the left side...
yeah using the polar pro. using the white balls. have not tried removing the battery but ill do that.
increasing the fps will reduce the wobble? though if i can figure out how to leave the polar pro on it im good. no noticeable wobble in my footage with it on there.
i have the h3-3d with a hero 4 black. when i add my nd filter i have to add 4 quarters a penny and a nickel to balance the dang thing. and now all the sudden the gimbal goes bonkers with all that change on it. so im down to no filter and one penny on the side for balance. gimbal runs great...
well i took off the nd filter and all the coins except one penny and that fixed the problem. but its weird that i flew it several times with the filter and all the coins for balance with no problem. though now my issue is wobble in the video with no nd filter but im gonna make another post on that
have flown about 6 times on a brand new phantom 2/h3-3d/hero 4 black. just brought it out today and cam keeps flipping up and down by itself without me moving it. it will be straight then all the sudden point straight down. then move back up. keeps doing it over and over. any thoughts? TIA
will they constant flash green with nose down to let u know are does it flash for a bit then go solid green? is it very obvious when it flashes? ive been doing it and it just seems to stay solid green. eventually i just get tired of turning like a fool and put it on ground and start flying.
i havent flown in the same place yet lol. so i guess im doing right then.
is the nose down turning hurting my gimbal? cause it flips out trying to balance. and how do you know the nose down cali is done? TIA again
hero 4 black with a polar pro nd filter on my h3-3d.
i had to put 2 quarters and a penny on the side motor to balance and 2 quarters and a nickel on the back to balance from the filter. with the coins on and the power off i can tilt the gimbal side to side and it stays. same with tilting...
