I have the metal one by KillerRC. I've also experienced a high velocity crash (cover by DJI...) It did stop the camera from separating but because of the kinetic forces of the crash the ribbon cable did tear about 1-2mm and the gimbal/ camera support arm did warp.

I would purchase this. Where can we start an official commitment/ tally. I'd be willing to send the money via PayPal.

@LukeZim15 , Welcome to the forum fellow Saluki! I could not locate any dealers in Southern Illinois for you. I'd recommend @msinger's advice and take a look at his dealers list. I'd recommend buying from an Authorized Dealer over DJI directly for numerous reasons. First is the direct support...

I have a repair pending....they are slow to respond either by email or zendesk. This is the norm for them. I believe they are simply overwhelmed and probably understaffed for the workload volume. Keep trying...you can also call to check the status of an RMA. Call DJI in LA.
