Add me to the yaw drift list. Sent my P4P4+ into DJI, the returned a completely new drone. When I flew the new one? ...same exact problem. She will not fly straight and will "jolt" yaw left and right when orbiting.
This sucks because my Mavic2 zoom and Pro are incredibly rock solid with...
Yup....calibrated my sticks over and over and over again. Looking at the stick motion meters, they are solid. I have even tested flying forward...not touching the stick...but putting my thumb on the side of the rocker cylinder and moving it forward. This gives no chance of any other stick tilt...
The first time I saw it was my. original P4P. I sold that and got the P4P+V2.0. Then sent it back to DJI for this yaw drift problem and they literally sent me a drand new one. New serial with retail stickers on it.
I flew the NEW on on Sunday....exact same yaw drift! My Mavic Air does not do...
Add me to the list. Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. Yaw will drift a couple of degrees in straight forward flight (mostly drifting left) and wil also drift slowley when orbiting around something.
Calibrated IMU prolly 10 times in a month. Calibrated the compas the dame too. Even calibrated the remote...
No,..the lens and sensor are good. Photographs are as rock solid as the Phantom 4 Pro. Saw his video too. It confirms my findings too.
I really hope that more people can publish test results too.
Th easiest test a single Mavic-II Pro owner can do is test their FOV "4k" wide mode against their...
Yes,...you need to see the video portion that describes "line skipping". This common readout technique reads the entire sensor from edge to edge,...but it skips lines and leaves line "gaps" on certain horizontal and vertical intervals.
Photos are a full pixel scan. 20 megapixels like normal...
I have done some lab comparisons between the Mavic-2-Pro, Mavic-2 Zoom and Phantom 4 Pro and have come up with some shocking results.
In my video, I theorize that DJI is doing a "line skipping" and/or "pixel binning" technique that significantly degrades it's image quality in 4k video mode. I...
Guys....dont dump your P4P for a Mavic-II untill you see my side by side camera lab tests next week. The P4P beats the crap out of the Mavic-II in 4k video mode. Results in a few days on YouTube
Let me tell you guys.....Im doing side by side lab tests in the next 3 days on actual resolution charts that CLEARLY show the P4P4 beating the crap out of the Mavic-II camera in resolving power. The P4P does a FULL PIXEL READOUT. The Mavic-II Pro does heavy line skipping in "FOV" mode and center...
I read that helicopters must stay 500+ up,....unless they are over "open water" or "sparsely populated" ground. This means that both, a drone helicopter can legally share the same air space below 400ft if its over "open water". This is a problem that the FAA will need to review. Maybe the answer...
This is caused by sunlight blasting through your props and conflicting with your camera shutter speed. Your props have a certain RPM and your image sensor is scanning at so many hundreth's of a second. The two numbers "oscillate" against each other to cause flickering. Slower shutter speeds can...
I believe that with the new Phantom5, DJI is creating. "New" market point between the current P4P and Inspire-II.
There is a large gap in between these two markets. I believe that with the Mavic Pro-II getting P4P's camera and complete imaging system, it is purposefully "intended" to take most...
