That's an easy fix for someone with good soldering skills. Just need to push the connector back down and solder a bridge from the connector lead to the nearby test pad.

How many miles do you need to broadcast? Using more power than you need is just wasting battery life/flight time.

I've verified that it's quite easy to attach a servo to the FC40 to control the pitch: Just a servo attached to F2, a piece of double-stick foam tape, a straightened-out paper clip, and a small hole drilled in the bracket.

The tabs (terminals) from the battery to the board do tend to get bent during a crash, but that's usually not an issue, unless they short against each other. I had a problem battery that wouldn't do anything. Turns out the button stopped working. I was able to repair it.

Does your PVT581 have the USB port on the bottom? Perhaps check if the cable that goes to the board is okay and has all 4 wires connected.
