With everything going on right now I decided to part with my P1.1.1 as i just do not have time to fly it. Here are some details
P1.1.1 with extended landing gear (taller and wider)
3 stock DJI batteries
3 SMC 3300 batteries
2 stock DJI chargers and a 12v car charger

I have been out of the quad copter scene for a several months. With everything going on in life right now i just flat out don't have time to fly. Things aren't looking to change any time soon either. So im thinking ill just sell my Phantom and move on to other thing. But my question is what...
Im thinking you dont understand what the word "Epic" means. not to be to blunt but it was just a phantom flying in a back yard and crashing/tipping over. None of the crashes were that bad either...just flying to fast and not having control of it
LOL....yeah your right on that.
All in all it was a great experience. Flying on a 55" TV was great and i will probably do that again for any other "public viewings" i do.
I didnt have anything near that "aggressive" happen to me but i had a lady complain and say how "those things are scary and think of all the evil they can do". I just replied "I can do more evil with the internet than this thing. Evil is done by a person not a machine." The lady agreed and...
I get asked that alot also. I will generally answer "expensive" the first time but if they ask again (it does happen but is rare) I tell them "thats about $1500 flying in the air right now and about another $500 worth of extras on the ground in my case"
My friend said they had more double the kids there than they have ever had in the past. They all drew pictures on some paper for a design of their scout t shirts and from what I was told 3/4 were quad copters
A friend of mine is a local cub scout leader. Last night they had their annual recruiting/yearly start up meeting. He had asked me several months ago if i would come out and fly my Phantom to show the kids and be a "draw" to get kids there. I brought out a 55" LED TV and hooked my FatShark...
i have 6 batteries (3 stockers and 3 2700's) and 2 standard wall chargers and 1 12v car charger. I have never done all 6 at once. The 2700 batteries will fly (normal flying not hovering or crazy hard flying) for about 8-9 min. The stock batteries (same kind of flying) will fly about 6 min...
I forgot about this thread! I like coming to a place and it doesnt seem odd all of us discussing crap like this LOL. My wife hears me talk about this stuff and she just says "your such a nerd" and goes on about her stuff LOL.
I have the P 1.1.1 and its great. I have modded mine up a bit and Im sure i will continue to do so. I dont see the need to buy anything else because i can make my P1 do the same thing for the same or less money over time.
