I have a P2 non vision and I believe that's more what the GS is designed for. I would think your better off to install antenna upgrades on a vision and use the available app.

Esc can fail in a few different ways if 1 phase fails it will stop and jerk back and forth. Disconnect 1 of the 3 wires going to a motor and try and power it up to see. Esc can also miss a beat going out of time but makes a heck of a noise when this happens. I would guess you had a sudden loss...

I only got about 250 metres range when I put mine inside with 1 antenna coming out and down a leg and the other out the vent in the arm.
