Thanks guys for all the responses. Its all good. In the room where I opened the box the lighting wasn't that great and it looked a lot worse than it really is. I agree, I should have purchased from Amazon or some other store, DJI customer service is the worst !!!!!!
Haven't taken her out yet. Spent the afternoon dealing with this cosmetic issue. I'll probably leave it as is. To me its a greater risk sending it in and getting something worse ... In better light it looks much better !

I received my P4 today and I'm generally happy with the build quality except for where the grey underbody meets the glossy white shell. See attached picture.
It's seems that a little more effort and care could have been taken to ensure a seamless joint. Do they all look like this ?

Great news ! I have been re-linking the remote and using it with both of my P3Ps so I'm familiar with the process. I jut wasn't sure if the Phantom 4 remote will work with the Phantom 3. Thank you !
I suffered a crash a while ago and I ended up purchasing a new P2P from DJI at a discounted price. I was able to replace my camera on my crashed phantom and it works great now. I am upgrading to the Phantom 4, my plan is to sell the new P3P package with my remote and keep the crashed one...

Did u miss the entire part of this thread where it's abundantly clear that the Phantom calculated the wrong altitude? The reported altitude at the time of impact was off by over 40 feet. This was certainly a contributing factor in the crash. As I've said before, I did make mistakes, however...
